Ur-Energy is a dynamic junior mining company focusing on exploration and development of uranium properties in the United States and in Canada. Ur-Energy was incorporated on March 22, 2004 as a private corporation under the laws of the Province of Ontario and trades on the Toronto Stock Exchange as URE-TSE. On August 7, 2006, Ur-Energy was continued under the laws of Canada.

In the United States, the Company has acquired near-term production uranium properties in Wyoming, a State which has produced well in excess of 200 million pounds of uranium.
